Meet with an Advisor
Advising
Advising at Highline College is a teaching and learning process in which students, through a relationship with an advisor, are empowered to identify their goals, understand the college, its curriculum, degree options, and resources and services, and use that knowledge to develop and refine short and long-term course-taking plans to reach their goals.
Professional advisors in the Advising Center are available to assist new students with their transition to college. Students who have selected a professional/technical certificate or degree program, or an area of interest for university transfer, are strongly encouraged to meet with an advisor in their chosen pathway or program.
