Faculty Advising

Faculty advisors are key to student success! Students are highly encouraged to meet regularly with a faculty advisor to discuss degree requirements, transfer options, career opportunities, and more.

Request a Faculty Advisor

If you have earned 30 credits or more and would like to request a faculty advisor, simply complete the online Faculty Advisor Request form. You will be matched with an advisor based on your degree and area of study.

In addition to working with a faculty advisor, remember your current instructors are also great resources. You do not need to be officially assigned to a faculty member to seek their advice.

Instructions to see your assigned advisor in Aviso or CTClink

Not sure if you have an assigned faculty advisor? Can’t remember who your faculty advisor is? Simply use your Highline username and password to login to Aviso/Watermark where you can view your faculty advisor, if assigned. In Aviso, you can schedule a meeting with your advisor and also send an email to ask questions, in addition to viewing your class schedule, unofficial transcript and academic plan. More information about Aviso is available here.

You can also find your assigned faculty advisor in CTClink using these instructions.
